At Little Magpies Childcare Centre we value learning!
Exploring nature, being creative and having fun are some of the many things that children enrolled at Little Magpies experience. Respect, Resilience, and Relationships are our learning priorities.
It is important to us to ensure the emotional well-being of each child by having a primary caregiving appoach for our Under 2 year olds. Our teachers respect and support children’s individual learning encouraging children to be confident and competent learners.
We have three separate learning environments designed to support individual children’s learning, with a Head Teacher in each area and a small team of dedicated, qualified teachers.
We encourage families to share with the teachers in their child’s area their aspirations, cultural identity, values and beliefs.

Some excerpts from our latest ERO report which we would like to share with you…
“Children’s learning and development is supported through caring, reciprocal relationships. Predictable routines foster security and belonging for younger learners. “
“Children’s learning stories build a picture of what they know, are interested in, and can do. Kaiako and whānau informally share information about children’s activities and interests.”
We are very lucky to have such an awesome team of kaiako to learn alongside our tamariki.
