Working parents often have the added pressure of wondering what to do with their kids before school, after school, or during the school holidays. We operate a small programme (up to 30 children) and cater for 5 – 11 year olds in a homely environment.

Parents are welcome to drop in during our opening hours to look around.
Before School Care – At 8.15am we walk the students to the Te Mata School Hall. Or alternatively we can use our Little Magpies van to drive students to other Havelock North Schools.
Te Mata Primary Students
After School Care – We meet the students outside the school hall and walk with them to our house on Te Mata Road.
Havelock North Primary Students
After School Care – Children catch a school bus to our house on Te Mata Road.
Havelock North Intermediate and Hereworth Students
After School Care – Students need to make their own way to us. Care will start from when they arrive at Little Magpies.
